1095 Miles Challenge

IF you are reading this, then I will assume you have some interest in testing yourself athletically and mentally, and if this is the case then perhaps this challenge could be for you.

The challenge is simple, run a minimum of 3 miles a day for 365 days (1 year). I said it was simple!

Let me back track a second and explain myself, the 1095 Challenge is something I did a couple of years ago, and at the time was the third person to complete it, since then many others have taken on the challenge and some have finished, some have fallen by the wayside.

What will you learn form the challenge you are probably asking yourself, well, as much of a cliche as it sounds you will learn a lot about yourself. Can you push yourself to do something when you don’t want to, can you organise yourself, can you usb your pain threshold and can you find motivation.

Without completing the challenge I would never have gone on to do the triathlons this year as I would never have believed I could learn to swim or push myself mentally when the going got tough.

I know what you are thinking, where do I sign up, well simple go to the website and sign up.

MY good friend Jon North is just about to finish the challenge and I am sure he would echo my thoughts on what a good test of yourself this is.
